Best Cryptocurrency Trading Bots: Reviews
#1. 3Commas - Best Overall Crypto Trading Bot
3Commas is my top choice for trading bots, and there are a few reasons for this. Firstly, 3commas has a Signal Bot which simplifies the process of developing a sophisticated bot that goes beyond basic Grid or DCA strategies. It achieves this by streamlining the integration of alerts and signals from TradingView directly into the bot's functionality. This bot is designed to open positions in response to alerts received from TradingView, providing users with the flexibility to actively manage these positions. Users can adjust their strategies by either scaling up or scaling down their positions as required, offering a more dynamic and responsive approach to trading.
3Commas also offers a single interface where you can access all your crypto exchange accounts. I found this extremely useful, because I use Binance, Coinbase Pro and OKX for trading, and they all link seamlessly to 3Commas, giving me an easy overview of all my trading activity.
Finally, 3Commas caters for their users by providing plenty of educational content and practical guides, as well as demo trading, so you can learn more about crypto trading. If you are ever stuck, you can also contact the customer support team where you will receive assistance from a real person.

#2. Bybit - Best crypto exchange with built-in bot
Bybit is one of the best cryptocurrency exchanges, and it has recently added free Grid Trading Bots to their platform. It is easy to use, and you can set up the bot exactly how you like, enabling you to trade 24/7 and make the most of any market volatility even when you are offline or asleep. If you are new to crypto bot trading, you can also choose to copy a successful trader's bot exactly, and learn from their strategies. It is easy to find the best performing bots based on the last 24 hours or 7 days, and then copy the parameters for your own bot.
The trading fees on Bybit are extremely low, at just 0.1% for spot trading, and 0.01/0.06% (maker/taker) for derivatives trading. With over 280+ coins to trade, you will definitely find a trading pair that you can apply your Grid Bot to. Another excellent feature of Bybit is the Testnet, or demo mode. This is where you can test out your trading strategies risk-free, using virtual trades based on real market conditions and prices. You can practise here first, before applying the parameters to your real bots.
Bybit also offers various other features, if you are interested in more than bot trading. For example, you can margin trade with up to 100x leverage, earn interest on your crypto, copy trade, and even purchase crypto directly using Visa/Mastercard or Apple Pay.
If you sign up to Bybit with our link, you will also receive $10 FREE Bitcoin when you deposit $100.

#4. KuCoin - Best for beginners
KuCoin is a popular cryptocurrency exchange that also includes a free trading bot as an integrated feature within the platform. Although KuCoin's trading bot is basic, I highly recommend it for beginners, and here are six main reasons why:
- It's completely free to use. As soon you open a free account with KuCoin, you can access the free trading bot.
- KuCoin provides the parameters of the most successful bots that others are using, so you can easily copy them to use as your own trading strategy.
- KuCoin has extremely low trading fees (only 0.1%, with discounts if you use their KCS coin, or if you trade large volumes).
- You receive access to a great crypto community where people share trading strategies.
- It is an excellent bot to learn the ropes, due to the limited number of options and parameters available.
- KuCoin has over 11 million users, meaning their markets are deep and extremely liquid. Your trades will go through quickly with so many users.
After you have gained some experience using a basic bot, you may want to graduate to more complex strategies, which you can implement using more complex bots (see options below).
The KuCoin trading bot currently offers five strategies: spot grid, futures grid, smart rebalance, dollar cost averaging, and infinity grid. There are plans to add more strategies and capabilities, so I expect KuCoin's bots to rival other bots on the market in the near future.
What exactly is the KuCoin bot capable of? You start by choosing your trading pair (eg: BTC/ETH); there are hundreds of trading pairs available on KuCoin. I prefer selecting a pair with the stable coin USDT to reduce volatility. Next, you choose the range in which you want your bot to trade, for example if you choose the lower end of your range to be $10 and the upper end to be $20 the bot stops buying when the price is below $10 and stops selling when it's above $20. Then you need to specify how many orders you want your bot to place at any one time, I usually choose around 50. This means the bot will set out to make roughly 25 buy orders and corresponding sell orders. After that you need to specify your total investment, I recommend you start small if you're a beginner, around $50.
That's all you have to do, now just click create and it gets to work instantly. To learn more about KuCoin, read my full review of the exchange here.

#5. Pionex - 16 Free Trading Bots
Pionex is an excellent cryptocurrency exchange with over 120+ cryptocurrencies and 16 free in-built trading bots. It is so easy for first-timers to use, with detailed tutorials on each bot so you can get acquainted with each one and determine which is the best for your needs. There is no need to link the bots to any exchange, because it is all automatically ready to go as soon as you open your free Pionex account.
Not only is it free to open an account with Pionex and use the bots, but the trading fees are extremely competitive, at only 0.05% per trade, whether you are manually trading or using a bot. Pionex has deep liquidity which it aggregates from multiple other exchanges so you don't need to worry about your orders not being filled.
Pionex is a great choice for newcomers to trading bots, and their AI 2.0 Grid Trading bot is the best one to get started with. The operation of the bot is simple, without the need to set complex parameters. It is easy to understand and has an APR of 153.4%. It is based on 30 day backtesting, and is suitable for running 30-50D. Watch this short video explaining Grid Trading bots for a better understanding.
The one downside I note about Pionex is that it doesn't accept fiat deposits or withdrawals. To get around this, you will need to open an account with another exchange, where you can purchase crypto to transfer to Pionex. The best way is to purchase USDT and then send it to Pionex, because you can use USDT as the base currency for your trades.

#14. Trality – best for creating your own bot
Trality is a truly unique offering in the bot market. Rather than providing pre-programmed bots, Trality provides the tools and flexibility for you to customize and fine-tune your own bots according to your preferred trading strategies. It is suitable for beginners and advanced traders, those with no coding skills and Python coding gurus – and everyone in between.
Trality's Marketplace allows you to rent out the bots you have created or follow other bots, while maintaining complete control over your bot and its underlying algorithm.
Trality has the tools and the graphic and intuitive interface to support you all the way. Pre-programmed strategies and technical indicators can be dragged and dropped to build the logic for your bot if you are using the Rule Builder. There is excellent Python API functionality for developers, a debugger, popular libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Tulip, and Talib, and a range of templates to get started.
Security is tight. Trality facilitates the trade but never directly touches your funds, which remain at your crypto exchange. You create and test on your browser, so your ideas stay on your computer. And your bot is sandboxed and end-to-end encrypted so that no one – not even Trality – has access to your trading strategies.
You can have as many bots as you like for diversification. Each bot can run on multiple strategies and be applied to multiple trading pairs.
Help is easily found through simple yet thorough documentation, blogs and tutorials, and emails if you need special assistance. There is a particularly active Discord community that support each other and provide ongoing updates. The owners of Trality also participate and encourage the open development of their product.
Trality promises that you can create, code, backtest, and trade like a professional.
